As far as the legal aspects are concerned it is not mandatory for any person to hire a trademark attorney. According to the trademark act 1999, any person can file a trademark application all by himself. But there is the number of reasons that make it in your best interest to hire one. Trademark is any word, phrase, symbol, and/or design that is capable of identifying and distinguishing the source of the goods of the person from other. In order to enjoy the exclusive usage and distribution rights over the trademark, the owner is required to get his Trademark registered under the Trademark act 1999. If any person tries to use just the same or the deceptively similar mark then it will account for trademark infringement will be considered a breach of the law.
